Joakim Simon Noah〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=NBA.com Joakim Noah Draft 2007 Profile )〕 ( ; born February 25, 1985) is a professional basketball player who currently plays for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born in New York City to a Swedish mother and a French Cameroonian father, he holds American, Swedish, French and Cameroonian citizenship.〔(NBA-debut för Joakim Noah i natt )〕 He played college basketball for the University of Florida where he won back-to-back NCAA championships in 2006 and 2007. The Chicago Bulls selected Noah with the ninth overall pick in the 2007 NBA draft. Noah is a two-time NBA All-Star and won the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award in 2014.

Noah was born in New York City, New York to Cameroonian−French singer and former world No. 3 tennis player Yannick Noah, winner of the French Open in 1983, and Cécilia Rodhe, Miss Sweden 1978. His grandfather Zacharie Noah was a Cameroonian professional soccer player, winner of the Coupe de France in 1961.
